I am a Shiatsu Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, 500-hour ERYT, an accountability coach and run YTTs. My background is shaped as much by curiosity and discipline as by travel.

I grew up in East London, UK — far from the landscapes that would later inform my work. That changed when I stepped away from a conventional path and immersed myself in extended study and travel across India, Southeast Asia, Japan and East Africa. These experiences fundamentally reshaped how I communicate with others, understand the body, movement and health and have impacted and deeply informed my work.

When not offering 1-1 private sessions online or in person I can be found designing and leading transformative retreats and Yoga Teacher Trainings in carefully chosen, luxurious locations, offering experiences that are immersive, intentional, and held with integrity.

My love for the subtle body as well as physical body can be identified in the way I heal and teach. I am passionate about supporting the health of the physical body while cultivating a positive and resilient inner landscape. My approach integrates mindful movement, affirmations, chanting, strength and mobility practices, breathwork, and restorative techniques with conscious nutrition, nervous system regulation, and reflective practices. I believe true well-being emerges when physiology and psychology are aligned—when we move with awareness, nourish ourselves intentionally, create space for rest and recovery, and live in alignment with our values. By fostering both physical vitality and emotional clarity, I aim to help individuals build strength not only in their bodies, but also in their mindset, presence, and overall sense of balance.

Underpinning all of my work is a commitment to compassion, truth, accountability, and trust — not as concepts, but as lived practice.

Payal GoriPayal is a biotechnologist turned Yoga teacher who moved to Uganda in 2013. Since she was a child, she found herself very curious about the mind, body and soul connection. Till the age of 23, Payal had a regular yoga practice as a part of her culture, not paying much attention to it.

At the age of 24, due to a major shift in her life, she left her job in one of the most competitive environments in one of the most competitive places (Bombay) of the world and took a 6 month break. This is when she re-discovered her enthusiasm for yoga. She dedicated the next year deepening her own practice with several teachers in India. Being from a scientific background gave her a very keen interest in observing the anatomy of the physical and subtle body.

In 2014, Payal moved to becoming a full time Yoga teacher. She wanted to share this joy and knowledge of self discovery and absolute state of health with everyone around her. When she moved to Uganda, it was a perfect opportunity for her to help the (then) small spiritual community. Having lived in many places all her life, Payal lovingly calls Uganda her HOME.

In 2020 she opened the first dedicated Yoga and Wellness space in Kampala and here she spends most of her time and focus.

Her vision is to create a safe and healing space and community of entrepreneurs, healers, Yoga teachers, Energy workers, creative artists can come to offer the depth of their knowledge to anyone who is willing to learn and anyone who is looking to transform their lives and the loves of the people around them.

Benny started out practicing Hatha and Iyengar yoga from the age of 15, but only discovered Yin Yoga in 2015, finally becoming a teacher in 2017. Since then she has never looked back and continues training in and teaching this wonderful practice wherever and whenever she can. Based in Kenya, she teaches studio classes in Nairobi.

Despite her strong alignment background her classes and trainings take on a very functional approach allowing the variations is our body the freedom to move at their own pace. She believes that it is important to cultivate a sense of self-awareness with regards to our body and mind so that we may be truly in harmony with ourselves and our environment. One of her primary disciplines is the study of human anatomy as she sees it as a fundamental part of any yoga training.

As a certified yin yoga teacher, Benny’s Yin Yoga background is extensive, having trained with some of the Yin heavyweights like Paul and Suzee Grilley, Sarah Powers as well as Jo Phee and Joe Barnett which she also assists around the globe.

Jordan has been practicing yoga for over 10 years in the US, Europe and Kenya. She received certification in Baptiste Power Yoga with the Africa Yoga Project in Kenya, completed the Karuna YTT in 2018 and recently completed a course in yoga for 12-step recovery.

She teaches a range of classes in Nairobi including classes at wellness centers, classes accompanied by live musicians, private classes, charitable classes at a school for street kids and charitable trauma-informed classes at a girls’ school in the slum Kibera.

Jordan is an active volunteer in a number of yoga-based initiatives including the Africa Yoga Project, Mental 360 (NGO creating awareness of mental health issues offering counselling and yoga) and New Leaf Rehabilitation Center in Lamu (development of a yoga program for recovering addicts). She is also certified in Reiki Level I and is a beginner student of Qigong.

Since 2001, Sophie has been evolving her spiritual, emotional and physical relationship with yoga — a practice which has emerged as her primary source of grounding, connection and healing. Her training includes a 200 hour YTT in Costa Rica with Sonic Yoga (2014), a 200 hour YTT in France with Liquid Flow Yoga (2017), and trauma-sensitive yoga trainings with The Minded Institute, Off the Mat (Hala Kouri) and OMPowerment. In 2016, Sophie developed Healing and Resilience Through Yoga (Hart Yoga), a yoga-based psycho-social treatment approach currently being implemented with survivors of human trafficking across Africa and USA. https://movewithhart.org/

Sophie is grateful to the core teachers who shaped the contours of her practice and, most importantly, showed her the boundless generosity of spirit, especially Dana Flynn (her first teacher – what a gift), Simon Park, Gopi Kinnicutt, Jodi Boone and Barbara Verrochi. For inspiration, acceptance and support she is forever indebted to her sister-teachers in Uganda: Leyla Ahmet Meredith, Payal Gori, and Angela Inglish-Gill. Sophie’s teaching style uses fluid movement, consistent breath, and creative sequencing to gently challenge practitioners of all levels
